Richard is EY Guernsey’s Managing Partner with over 25 years of audit and accounting experience, working in all aspects of the financial services industry in the Channel Islands. He has significant experience in the wealth and asset management and banking sectors.

He leads the Guernsey office’s Financial Accounting and Advisory Services team, Ernst & Young LLP, which supports clients in managing the implementation of accounting changes, ranging from single accounting standards to project planning and the implementation of IFRS.

Richard joined the firm in 1995 as a trainee and subsequently became ACCA and AAT qualified. He completed a secondment to an international bank as financial controller in 2006. Following this, in 2008, Richard was seconded to London as the global chair of the EY Wealth & Asset Management IFRS network for two years.
