Marc is a Tax Partner with EY Caribbean’s Tax Services with 18 years’ experience in tax, serving a portfolio of local and multinational companies. He has responsibility for managing the tax compliance and advisory functions for clients in the energy, manufacturing and retail sectors. He has been involved in business advisory for multinational clients and conglomerates throughout the Caribbean and has widespread experience providing direct and indirect tax compliance and advisory services.
During his career, Marc has worked on due diligences, acquisition structuring, internal restructurings, and tax optimization structures for a number of local, regional and international clients of EY in a range of industries such as retail and distribution, manufacturing and oil & gas, where he provided support in developing and implementing tax mitigation strategies for investments into Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean. He is also involved in the resolution of direct and indirect tax disputes with the Inland Revenue Department in Trinidad and Tobago.
Marc has been with EYC since 2008 and also served a two-year international assignment with EYC in St. Lucia. He started his career at EY as part of the Human Capital Team where he provided multinational clients with tax compliance and advisory services with regard to their employee tax matters. He has BSc in Economics, with a minor in International Relations.
