Darrin Grimsey is the EY Global Infrastructure Advisory Leader and lead partner at EY Australia for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He brings over 35 years of experience in infrastructure projects and Public Private Partnerships (PPPs).
He has advised on high-profile projects in Australia, UK and Southeast Asia, with experience spanning across project management, commercial and financial advisory, risk identification and contract negotiations. Darrin has influenced Australia's PPP program and led projects across sectors including transport, energy, health, justice, education and events facilities.
Darrin holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Nottingham (1987) and a master’s degree in management and the Implementation of Development Projects from the University of Manchester (1992).
He has authored acclaimed works on infrastructure, including award-winning literature like "Public Private Partnerships: The Revolution in Infrastructure Provision and Project Finance" and "Global Developments in Public Infrastructure Procurement: Evaluating Public-Private Partnerships and Other Procurement Options".
