Engineering excellence in manufacturing 

Mr. Jasbir Singh is a second-generation entrepreneur who has transformed Amber into an industry leading powerhouse as a solution provider to the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry.

Rising through the ranks, he joined the company’s board in 2004 and assumed the role of Chairman and CEO in 2017, marking the beginning of sharp growth for the company. Identifying a promising market for sheet metal components used in window-mounted ACs, he fundamentally reshaped Amber’s trajectory.

In addition to being a leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), seeing growing demand in the market, Mr. Singh took the decision to design and manufacture their own AC models, marking an evolution into a full-fledged Original Design Manufacturer. By FY25, the company was supplying to nearly all leading room AC brands in India with 27% manufacturing market share.

Mr. Singh has taken the company to new heights, from listing successfully in January 2018 and making a series of strategic acquisitions as part of his growth strategy to expanding into power electronics and automation. He has redefined the company as one of India’s most integrated component and electronics manufacturers. Driven by strong demand, the company reported FY25 revenue of INR9,973 crore.

Since the transformation that Mr. Singh started in early 2000s, component manufacturing continues to serve as a cornerstone of Amber Enterprises’ business model. As he aims to be a top OEM/ODM, along with focusing on green tech, energy efficient RACs, smart controls, IoT and advanced HVAC components, Mr. Singh is strengthening the sustainability agenda through automation, circularity and resource efficiency.
