Dr. Devesh is a Partner in Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS). He specializes in accounting and regulatory compliance including implementation of accounting changes such as Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS), US GAAP/International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) conversions, accounting and reporting digital solutions, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Dr. Devesh has over 20 years of experience in serving various shared services operations, banking and financial services, technology and telecom clients. He has led numerous IFRS conversion projects, converting entities from Indian GAAP to IFRS. He has been instrumental in developing strategic US GAAP and IFRS accounting solutions, while managing end-to-end accounting process improvement projects and driving the change.
He holds a PhD in Stock Market Operations from University of Allahabad and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Colorado State Board of Accountancy. He is also a Chartered Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and has earned a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lucknow.
