Christopher is in charge of legal services at EY overseeing all aspects of corporate commercial law advisory for clients. He has over 21 years of professional experience. His prior role as a consultant at Viva Africa Consulting Ltd included tax advisory in exit & entry, tax and financial due diligence, which prepared him for his big role at EY where he leads strategic business reviews, deal structuring, post-deal integrations, post-implementation reviews among others. Christopher holds a bachelor’s degree in Arts (Economics) and two Masters degrees in Law and Finance from University of London and the University of Nairobi, respectively. Christopher is also a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
How is Christopher shaping the future with confidence?
Christopher has been involved in various insolvency assignments tapping into his legal and accounting expertise in the corporate world. Having worked under two insolvencies practitioners (IPs) at EY LLP, he has gained experience in insolvency. He has provided legal and tax advice to the IPs and helped resolve tax disputes arising during the insolvency. Christopher is also an expert in legal consultancy and has successfully led and executed assignments in liquidation of companies, resolving tax disputes, administration over companies among others.
