Alex leads a team located across four cities on three continents, providing UK tax reporting services to funds of all strategies, and covering both UK reporting fund status and investment partnership tax reporting.
In addition to tax reporting services, he advises fund managers on how to structure their funds and their own investment management businesses. Recently, he has advised hedge and long-only managers on the shift towards illiquid and private investments and has advised private banks on their product offerings in the retail alts space.
Having worked across a full range of investment managers from the very smallest to the largest, and a very broad range of strategies, Alex brings a wealth of experience to any new situation.
Alex is a Chartered Accountant and holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge.
