Wenjing Liu is the Chairman of Bluesail Medical Co. Ltd., a leading medical device company offering a wide range of products and services, covering business areas in health protection, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular, minimally invasive surgery and medical care.

Bluesail Medical, which focused on medical glove manufacturing during the first decade since the company’s establishment, has now expanded its strategy to target high-tech markets, conducting business in more than 100 countries.

While working at Sinopec Qilu Petrochemical Company, a state-owned enterprise, Wenjing realized it was difficult for her to achieve her passion and career goal. She then started Bluesail Medical in 2003 as one of the founding members.

Wenjing holds an engineering degree from Shanghai University of Engineering Science and an MBA degree from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. She is currently pursuing an EMBA at Tsinghua PBC School of Finance and a DBA at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. She was named one of the Top 100 Businesswomen in 2014 and 2015 by Forbes China, the Top 10 Entrepreneurial Leaders of China’s Listed Companies in 2017, China's Most Influential Businesswomen and the Top 10 Chinese Business Leaders in 2019, and the Top 30 Most Influential Businesswomen in China in 2020.

Bluesail Medical has won several influential awards, including being listed in the Top 20 Medical Devices in China in 2019 by the Expert Committee of China’s Top 100 Pharmaceutical Industry Rankings.
