Cyprus’ Ministry of Labour recently provided clarifications regarding the salary requirements and list of eligible professions for third-country nationals who seek to apply for an EU Blue Card. In July 2024, Cyprus’ House of Representatives approved amendments to its Aliens and Immigration Law to begin issuing EU Blue Cards to qualifying applicants, in line with the EU Blue Card Directive. Blue Card holders will benefit from relaxed conditions for mobility within the EU and simpler requirements to obtain long-term residence authorization.
