Hong Kong digitizes various immigration application processes
Effective 17 January 2025, individuals who apply to obtain new entry visas or extend their current visas under various immigration policies/schemes must file their applications online. Applicants can also upload supplementary documents (if any) and track the status of their submitted applications through these online channels. This change is expected to streamline the immigration process. Impacted employers and employees may familiarize themselves with the online application process and requirements.
