Malaysia to introduce new Investor Pass for eligible foreign investors
Effective 1 April 2025, Malaysia will introduce a new Investor Pass to streamline the entry process for foreign investors and facilitate long-term stays for these individuals. The Investor Pass will allow holders to visit Malaysia multiple times for up to six months, with the possibility of extending their stay for an additional six months. Holders will not be able to bring dependents. The authorities will process applications within five working days. For successful applications, they will issue an approval letter through the Xpats Gateway system.
