Venezuelan nationals now eligible for two-year visas to regularize their status in Colombia
Effective 4 December 2024, Colombia began issuing new visas called “V – Visitante Especial” for qualifying Venezuelan nationals and their dependents who seek to regularize their immigration status in Colombia.
The Colombian immigration authorities recently cleared Resolution No. 12509 due to the significant increase in the number of Venezuelan nationals who have entered the country. The Resolution aims to support Venezuelan nationals with regularizing their immigration status in the country.
