The 20th Annual EY India Tax Workshop was hosted over two days at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, Goa. We were honoured to host Shri Rajesh Agarwal (IAS), Commerce Secretary, Government of India, and Shri Balasubramanian Krishnamurthy, Joint Secretary, Tax Policy Research Unit (TPRU), to share their perspectives on global trade dynamics and GST 2.0 reforms, respectively. We also had Neelkanth Mishra, Chief Economist, Axis Bank and Member, PM’s Economic Advisory Council, share his views on the policy priorities for achieving Viksit Bharat 2047, and join us for a panel discussion.

- India’s growth strategy amidst global trade shifts
- Demystifying transaction taxes
- Accelerating progress with GST 2.0
- The future of tax policy and controversy
- International tax and transfer pricing priorities
- From litigation to resolution: evolving tax disputes

We were privileged to host senior tax professionals and CFOs from leading organizations such as Adani, Siemens, Tata Power, Tata Steel, Axis, Bank of America, Nokia, Genpact, BCG, Visa, Udemy, RPG, and Cognizant, among others.
The two-day event concluded on an inspiring note with Lt. Gen. D.S. Hooda (Retd.), a decorated officer, who shared valuable leadership lessons from his years in service — on resilience, collaboration, and purpose.
