- Carbon disclosure project (CDP's) annual report mentions that 31 companies either have an internal pricing mechanism, or signing up for the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) or making commitments under RE 100, EP 100, and EV 100.
- Renewable purchase obligations (RPO) and renewable energy certificates (RECs) could be brought under a carbon framework that can be expanded to a functional emissions trading scheme.
- Companies will be able to make the right technology choices back to green technology and make their investments as per the carbon pricing regime.
