Sofia Ntoulou

Sofia is an Experience Designer at EY wavespace™ Athens, where she practices design thinking with a focus on user and business needs.

She designs and facilitates co-creation experiences for multidisciplinary teams, businesses and other stakeholders, through which new and unexpected answers consistently emerge.

Sofia believes that problem solvers don't need to wait for inspiration to get their best work done. Instead, they can bring the right people together in purposeful, structured, co-design sessions to extract insights that will lead to better outcomes.

She has studied Communications and Product & Systems Design Engineering in Greece and the Netherlands.

With a background in human-centered design, she has academic and professional experience in collaborative design processes. She practices the art and science of co-design, design research, creative problem solving and user testing.

Prior to EY, Sofia co-founded the first service design agency in Greece and was its managing partner for two years.

How Sofia is building a better working world

Sofia is a passionate proponent of co-creation. She designs and facilitates unique experiences that offer people the energy and enthusiasm to engage in new ways of thinking, in response to a changing world. She brings cross-functional teams together in creative environments – with design thinking methodology, facilitation, and the latest technology – to gently guide them from insights to ideas, to action.

Sofia firmly believes that the world needs to get in the “designer” headspace more often – where team alignment, empathy building, and bringing together different viewpoints are critical. That’s how she helps organizations grow while contributing to building a better working world.
