EY International Tax & Transaction Services webcast: OECD BEPS 2.0 Update

In this webcast, panelists talk about the present status of the OECD BEPS 2.0 project.

Please join us for the next in our webcast series as we continue to track the activity surrounding taxation of the digitalization of the economy, which has implications for companies in all sectors.

Going beyond the arms’ length principle, and even challenging domestic sovereignty, the OECD project on addressing the tax challenges of the digitalization of the economy (or BEPS 2.0) continues to move ahead. With a target for high-level agreement in 2020, and very little detail yet fleshed out, taxpayers are facing a changing tax landscape with limited information.

With Public Consultations for both Pillar One and Pillar Two recently held, the OECD continues to work on filling in details of the proposals and advance toward agreement. Meanwhile, several countries have begun taking unilateral actions that appear inspired by these proposals. The webcast will cover how the project is expected to develop, how countries are taking unilateral actions now, and how you can start preparing for changes in the tax landscape.

Our panelists will address:

  •  Current status of the OECD BEPS 2.0 project
  •  Highlights of the Pillar I and Pillar II consultations
  •  Unilateral actions and interactions with the BEPS 2.0 project
  • Next steps in the OECD process
