Kevin Janes

As the Americas Area Cybersecurity, Privacy and Trusted Technology Market Leader, Kevin is responsible for providing CIOs, CISOs and CROs with access to multidisciplinary teams, helping companies transform their IT risks. He oversees the overall architecture for EY services, methods and platforms to integrate and enable them across a myriad of IT Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Privacy and service organization control and attestation offerings.

A 30-year EY veteran, Kevin has a background in risk management, internal control reporting and security, particularly as it relates to systems and processes in the consumer, health and banking sectors.

Kevin received his MBA in IT Strategic Planning, Finance and Management & Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois.

"I continue to serve clients by providing leadership, project assistance, and quality assurance to several EY teams performing financial statement audits, internal audits, and a variety of risk-related consulting projects.

Outside of work, I spend my time volunteering within local Chicago not-for-profit organizations, including great arts organizations like Giordano Dance Chicago, America’s original jazz dance company, as I believe access to the arts is a critically important part of our society.
