Since 1987, Riccardo has worked across auditing, organizational and corporate finance. During this time, he developed strategies addressing the environmental mandates for companies and the integration of sustainability into business.
In 1998 and 2002 he defined, developed and led the Italian environmental practice of two big international consulting companies. In 2003 he took over the entire practice relating to sustainability consultancy by founding a new firm. After leading and developing this company for 11 years as market leader in Italy, in 2014 he contributed to the merger of his own firm with the EY Sustainability Team, of which he is currently Partner and Leader for the Mediterranean Region.
He has managed over 500 sustainability consultancy projects for over 300 different clients, developing vast experience on projects related to the integration of sustainability in the core business of companies.
