Israel announces automatic extension of certain B-1 visas for Foreign Experts
The Israeli Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) announced that certain B-1 visas for foreign experts are automatically extended until 31 July 2025. The outbreak of the current armed conflict has, among other things, created challenges for individuals seeking to depart Israel. Land Borders are open through Jordan and Egypt and flights are operating with limited numbers of travelers allowed on board. As a ceasefire recently came into effect, an announcement was issued stating that Israeli skies will reopen, and flights will be permitted to enter and exit Israel as previously.
