Qatar launches online attestation services for certain documents
On 6 October 2024, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) announced on its official website that individuals can now access attestation services online for certain specified documents. His Excellency the Director of the Department of Consular Affairs of the MoFA, Mohammed Abdullah Al Subaie, announced that individuals can now submit certain documents for attestation online via the MOFA's website, without having to visit the Department of Consular Affairs or government service centers. The online attestation service is available only for police clearance certificates issued by the Ministry of Interior, and educational certificates that meet the relevant criteria.
