Slovenia announces new language requirements for certain foreign nationals
Effective 1 November 2024, certain foreign nationals will be required to meet Slovenian language requirements to be eligible to extend their current residence permits or apply for permanent residence permits. The following individuals will be subject to the new language requirements (i) residence permit holders who are dependents of Single Permit holders; and (ii) permanent residence permit applicants.
