On 28 May 2026, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced the suspension of the previously implemented decision to extend all types of expired or nearly expired entry visas, as per press reports. This change will take effect from 7 June 2026. From this date, standard procedures governing visa validity periods, extensions and applicable fees will resume for all entry visa categories.
