A longtime advocate for financial inclusion throughout Latin America, Antonio Soares firmly believes that technology allows more people to enjoy the benefits of the financial system’s resources, thus expanding opportunities and reducing inequalities.

Antonio started his career at Dock in 2012 when the company was focused on card processing. He was hired to prepare the company for sale, but after seeing its potential, he joined forces with Riverwood Capital to buy it in 2014. Over the years, Antonio and his team transformed Dock into a B2B company that provides payments and banking technology to Latin American companies, offering tools for card and credit solutions, acquiring, Banking as a Service, and risk and compliance — all on one platform. 

Today, Dock has become a major engine behind the acceleration of digital financial services with operations in 11 countries. It powers 70 million active accounts and over 8 billion annual transactions while processing more than $240b annually. Dock is reinventing financial services for the next generation of users and leveraging its experience in Brazil to help other parts of Latin America increase financial inclusion and drive society forward.
