David Reger’s work begins with a simple but powerful vision: technology should give people back time, safety and dignity. As founder and CEO of NEURA Robotics, he set out to solve what he saw as the core barrier keeping robotics from entering everyday life: robots were never designed to adapt to real human environments. Instead, businesses were forced to reshape their infrastructure and operations around machines, creating a costly mismatch that limited the technology’s potential.

After seven years in the automation industry, David recognized this systemic innovation gap as the reason robots hadn’t taken hold in households, service roles or small businesses, even as demographic change made such support increasingly urgent. In 2019, he launched NEURA Robotics to develop robots that can see, hear, feel and safely understand their surroundings. NEURA’s one-device approach integrates sensors, perception capabilities and AI components into a single platform, enabling a new generation of cognitive robots, from industrial cobots to humanoid assistants, that become productive immediately without complex setup.

Through the Neuraverse, David is also creating an ecosystem that links cognitive robots across industries and homes with data, infrastructure and devices. This scalable foundation supports solutions to major societal challenges, from labor shortages to rising demands for productivity, safety and quality of life.

Choose a problem that truly matters to people and commit to it with everything you have. Trends fade. Purpose doesn’t.
