Charles Richard Oentomo launched his entrepreneurial career in 2009 after noticing that Indonesia’s parking operations relied heavily on manual processes and offered little room for efficiency or user convenience. Convinced that this everyday service could be transformed through technology, he founded Centrepark to bring greater structure, clarity and value to an overlooked part of the urban experience.

Under his leadership, Centrepark evolved from traditional operations into a company that uses digital tools to support property owners and improve mobility for millions of people. Its offerings now include smart parking systems, seamless cashless payments and digital platforms that help landlords better understand and manage their assets.

Today, Centrepark operates in more than 700 locations across 60 cities and employs over 5,000 people. Its systems process hundreds of millions of transactions each year, contributing to Indonesia’s shift toward a smarter, more connected urban environment.

For Charles, building one of the most creative parking and urban mobility firms in Indonesia is also about expanding opportunity. He is committed to developing young leaders, supporting professional growth and ensuring the Centrepark’s impact extends into the communities it serves. His journey demonstrates how thoughtful innovation can elevate essential services and improve daily life throughout Southeast Asia.

Technology allows us to transform a traditional industry without losing the human touch. It is built to help people do better work, not to replace them, so we can create more value for customers, uplift our teams, and bring meaningful impact to the communities we serve.
