Jaroslav Maslen cofounded MASLEN in 2003 with his brother Pavol, and the two continue to lead the business today. What began as a small manufacturing operation has grown under their steady leadership into an international producer recognized among Europe’s leading manufacturers of cold formed metal roofing systems.
MASLEN now processes approximately 15,000 tonnes of steel each year, delivering roofing solutions directly to sheet metal workers, installation companies and end customers locally and abroad. The company distributes a broad product portfolio through 36 company owned branches and employs more than 150 people.
Growth has been driven by sustained investment in modern technologies, efficient production and consistent customer service standards. Just as important, MASLEN’s success rests on honest craftsmanship, financial stability and long-term partnerships — principles that have helped the company earn a reputation for quality and reliability across the European market.
Jaroslav has also devoted significant effort to the development of the picturesque Slovak village of Ábelová. As the village mayor and a local entrepreneur focused on agrotourism, he has helped transform the area into a recognized destination.
By combining entrepreneurship, regional development and community leadership, Jaroslav has contributed not only to the growth of a successful manufacturing company but also to the revitalization and international visibility of the region where he lives and works.
