Stefan Krook is driven by a lifelong ambition to align business success with societal progress. He first made his mark by cofounding Glocalnet, a pioneer in IP telephony that grew into Sweden’s third-largest consumer telecommunications provider. He took the company public and became one of the youngest CEOs of a listed company in Sweden.
After returning to the Stockholm School of Economics to complete his studies, Stefan decided to use entrepreneurship as a force for good. This led to the creation of GoodCause, a group of companies that donate all profits to charity.
Recognizing that solving global challenges requires mobilizing large-scale capital, Stefan shifted his focus toward building impact-driven companies within the economic system. This led to Kivra, a digital mailbox that replaces physical administrative mail for companies, authorities and organizations across Sweden. Today, Kivra serves over 6 million users and more than 50,000 organizations, providing a secure, cost-efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to paper, saving the equivalent of around 70,000 trees annually.
As Chairman and a major shareholder of Kivra, Stefan continues to guide its role as a trusted component of national infrastructure. He also remains Chairman of the GoodCause Foundation, reflecting a long-term commitment to purpose-driven entrepreneurship. In parallel, he is advancing a framework for upgrading the global economic system so that market forces drive prosperity, as outlined in his book The Laghum Economy.
