Jung Jin SEO knew very little about science before founding Celltrion, now a multibillion-dollar global pharmaceutical company. After losing his job at an automaker, Jung Jin saw an opportunity to pivot his career when he heard a scientist speak about the future of medicine. 

Inspired by this encounter, Jung Jin embarked on a journey of learning and innovation, driven by a passion to make affordable health care accessible for everyone. This passion eventually led to the foundation of Celltrion. The company now creates groundbreaking drugs to treat cancer and autoimmune diseases worldwide, including Remsima, the world’s first monoclonal antibody biosimilar. 

Representing South Korea, Jung Jin was selected as EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2021.
