As the Houston Office Managing Principal at Ernst & Young LLP, Esi leads nearly 1,800 employees and is responsible for expanding the firm's market position, community engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture. Esi also serves as the Global Client Serving Principal to three Energy companies in Houston and as the Engagement Principal on Internal Audit/SOX engagements. Esi previously drove transformation and growth for EY's Internal Audit and SOX services globally as EYteams’ Global Advisory Internal Audit Leader. With over 30 years of risk advisory experience across the US, Europe, and Africa, Esi has served Energy clients in Houston for over two decades.
Esi also serves on the Boards of the Greater Houston Partnership and United Way of Greater Houston. She is a UK Chartered Accountant (FCA) with a bachelor's degree in economics and accounting from the University of Reading, UK, and has completed executive management programs at Harvard and Kellogg.

In the dynamic and ever-evolving landscape, where digital disruption, cyber threats, macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty, and increasing regulations are prevalent, Risk functions must be timely, flexible, and agile. She helps companies develop functions that leverage technology and are well-positioned to identify and monitor all current and emerging risks before issues arise.
