Areas of focus

Andre, who leads EY Infrastructure Advisory services in western Canada, brings nearly two decades of advisory experience across Canada and Australia.

He joined EY in 2004, working on some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects, before moving to Canada in 2011 where he has driven numerous successful, complex and innovative transactions.

Andre advises the public sector across the three levels of government in planning and implementing major capital projects. He supports clients through the lifecycle of their project, from the front end business cases, to procurement and delivery strategies, risk assessments and funding strategies and financial structuring. Once a project is forged and ready for a procurement process, he leads plans and executes the process and provides financial and commercial support during construction and operations.

Andre is a Chartered Accountant in Australia, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Adelaide and earned a diploma in Applied Finance from FINSIA.

Andre channels the best of EY’s capability and global reach to help clients optimally define their projects, and help structure and deliver them to increase taxpayer value and the chances of completion on time and budget.

Andre has worked on a diverse range of asset classes, from transportation, transit, energy, water/wastewater and telecommunications to hospitals, educational institutions and convention centres. He has deep experience with the challenges of remote, north environments, having advised on three successfully closed transactions in the Northwest Territories.

Andre is focused on incubating and accelerating impactful infrastructure projects to serve the needs of communities for future generations.
