Janina Berga

Janina is a Supervising Associate at Ernst & Young AG, heading up the first EY wavespace in Switzerland, located in Basel.

Janina joined EY in June 2020. For the past five years, she has been researching technology use cases in a business context, working on digital showcase development and facilitating technology workshops. Prior to that, she has worked for three years at a business transformation think tank.

Janina holds an MSc in International Business from a well-known Swiss university and a BSc in Business Administration from a Latvian University. During her BSc, she also studied in Sweden and interned in the UK. Both experiences led her to move abroad and exploring more places and cultures.

How Janina is building a better working world

”Being a person who continuously explores her creativity and passions in life, I happily support others in doing the same. For example, I support fellow creatives and entrepreneurs in developing their businesses and I mentor and advise young professionals on how to leverage online business networking platforms for their professional growth and career.

I enjoy working with people and being able to make a difference – be it for a colleague, a client or someone from my extended network. I find it very rewarding to inspire and watch others grow; in fact, sometimes sharing the right insight or connecting to the right person can be just what someone needs. “My door is always open.”
