Harsh C. Mariwala is devoted to empowering high-potential leaders navigate the growth stages of their enterprises. Incorporated in 2012, the ASCENT Foundation is a nonprofit expression of this passion, with 1,000 entrepreneur members and aggregate annual turnover of US$10b.

In 2003, Harsh founded the Marico Innovation Foundation to help India make quantum leaps in education, agriculture and health care. He also founded Mariwala Health Initiative (MHI) in 2015 to enhance accessibility to mental health services through financial grants and strategic assistance.

As the Chairman of Marico Limited, Harsh has transformed a traditional commodity-driven business into a leading beauty and wellness company. Today, one in three Indians is a Marico consumer, and the company has franchises throughout Asia and Africa. Harsh also is Chairman and Managing Director of Kaya Limited, which offers skin and hair care solutions alongside dermatology clinics.

Harsh was selected as EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020 India.
