Hitoshi is Japan Assurance Leader, serving on the Global Assurance Executive Committee overseeing compliance with quality control system for the service line’s performance. He has been associated with EY for close to three decades and became a Partner in 2003.
Hitoshi has conducted assessments of service quality, interviewed key executives and audit committee members of EY Global 360 and other priority accounts.
He has been engaged in the audits of a diverse range of companies in Japan. Over the years he has served as Deputy Director for Professional Practice in Japan, EMEIA Japan Business Services Assurance Leader based in London and a member of Accounting Principles Committee (JICPA) for consolidation, revenue recognition and IFRS.
Hitoshi holds a BA in Economics. from Keio University.
