EY acted as the exclusive sell-side investment banker to Jakson Green in one of the largest greenfield solar utility transactions in the past two years.
EY successfully advised Jakson Green on its strategic partnership with Blueleaf Energy (Macquarie Asset Management) for the development of a 1 GW ready-to-build solar portfolio worth US$ 400 million. This collaboration will also drive the joint development of an additional 4 GW of green energy projects in India.
Jakson Green, a leading new energy transition platform backed by the Jakson Group, has a solar EPC portfolio exceeding 5 GWp, 4 GWp of renewable O&M, and over 1 GWp of assets under development. The company is also building an 8,500 TPA green molecule production capacity.
Blueleaf Energy, a pan-Asian renewable energy platform owned by Macquarie Asset Management, specializes in developing, financing, and operating renewable assets to accelerate the transition to net zero.
