Loraine Fulton, Race Director, said: “The Hospice Half just keeps getting better. Since the first event in 2020, we’ve raised over £250,000 for Jersey Hospice Care. I’m extremely proud of our running community for the love they have for this event and the efforts they put in every year to fundraise.”

“It would not be possible without the army of people behind the scenes who work so hard to make it happen. Thank you to all our supporters, to our wonderful volunteers and colleagues at Hospice who did everything from baking cakes for the finish, to being road marshals keeping our runners safe! A special shout out goes to Rock n Road Run Co for supporting our race packs, to Jersey Water for supplying a water dispenser at the end, to Rock n Road Runners who expertly managed one of our water stations and helped keep smiles on the runners faces, to CA Frasier for the loan of their vans and support with the road signage, and most of all to our sponsors EY, who make it all possible. It’s been great to hear about everyone’s achievements and reasons for running for Jersey Hospice Care. A fantastic day all round.”

Francis Malaspina, a Partner at EY in Jersey, added:

"A massive congratulations to everyone who took part in this year’s event. From the runners and volunteers to those who came along to cheer everyone over the finish line, you all helped make it such a wonderful day. Each year I am inspired by the grit and determination shown by every runner, and it never fails to amaze me how our local community comes together to support one another. Whether you were taking on a personal challenge, chasing a new PB, or you were honouring a loved one, every reason matters and helps raise vital funds and awareness for such a deserving local charity.

“And finally, a heartfelt thank you to the Jersey Hospice Care team for their incredible hard work in making this event the success it is year-on-year.”
The winners were presented with trophies and certificates at a prize giving at Jersey Hospice on Wednesday, 26 March, with the course record breakers also winning a £100 voucher from Rock n Road Run Co.
