WBN brings together professionals from across the island to connect, share insights, and empower women in business.
Lisa Blondel, Chief Executive Officer of Guernsey based charity Bright Beginnings, will be the guest speaker for the event, sharing reflections on her career across education and the third sector.
Lisa joined Bright Beginnings as its first Chief Executive Officer in September 2023. Prior to this, she worked in secondary education in both the UK and Guernsey, gaining experience across curriculum and pastoral roles. She is passionate about enabling children to be happy, healthy and literate, ensuring they have the strongest possible start in life.
Drawing on both her professional experience and perspective as a mother, Lisa will offer an honest and thought-provoking insight into her leadership journey, alongside the importance of early support for children and families.
Margo Blondel, EY’s Channel Islands Marketing and Business Development Director, said: “It’s great to be able to support WBN as it creates space for meaningful connection, insight and shared ambition across Guernsey’s business community. We are particularly proud to be sponsoring this event with Bright Beginnings, whose work has such a lasting impact on children and families in the island. By helping to amplify voices like Lisa’s, we hope to encourage open, honest conversations about leadership and the role we can all play in creating stronger, more inclusive communities.”
The event will provide an opportunity for attendees to connect with members of the Guernsey business community over drinks and canapés. If you would like to attend and be part of the network, please RSVP to Karen Haith at the Women’s Business Network by contacting karen@haith.gg
