Areas of focus

Sharon is the EY Africa Lead for the Forensic & Integrity Services practice, which focuses on fraud and corruption investigations, fraud risk management, and anti-bribery and corruption compliance. She is also a member of the EY Global Forensics Leadership Team.

Her 20-plus years of professional experience include fraud, corruption and other financial investigations both locally and across Africa and Europe.

Sharon has served as Vice Chairperson of the Institute of Commercial Forensic Practitioners (South Africa) and has also served on the Board of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (South Africa).

She has also appeared and provided forensic insights into fraud survey results on CNBC Africa and other respected platforms.

How Sharon is building a better working world

Sharon believes that maximizing the potential in the diversity of South Africa’s people can go a long way toward building a better working world, as can continuing to offer exceptional client service. Her philosophy is that focusing on training and enhancing EY teams skills to achieve a leading global standard are key to achieving this goal.
