Areas of focus

Responsible for strategy, operations, client relations, quality, risk management and knowledge sharing for tax and finance functional outsourcing worldwide, Dave is EY Global Tax and Finance Operate Leader.

In his current role, he helps companies at the C-suite and tax leadership level to develop the right strategy across the co-sourcing continuum. Based on a company’s unique drivers, he helps to develop a tax operating model strategy that leverages a leading approach to navigating the challenges they face.

Dave is a member of the EY Global Tax Executive Committee. Previously, he served on the Tax Operating Committee, the Tax Client Service Group, and the Tax Advisory Board.

He received a BA from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in Taxation from DePaul University. He is a CPA.

How Dave is building a better working world

During his 31 years with EY, Dave has served on a number of committees, such as the Gender Equity Task Force, on which he fostered diversity, inclusiveness and a flexible work environment for EY people.

A contributor to tax thought leadership, he identifies and communicates the business and tax implications of current and emerging trends, such as tax risk management, tax transparency and tax policy issues.

Dave also helps companies manage tax policy and controversy matters, including providing expert testimony in tax litigation, and is a sought-after speaker on these issues.
