Malta powerbi workshop

Microsoft Power Bi: Dashboard in a Day

Introduction

In this workshop, we will be exploring the powerful capabilities of Power BI, a business analytics service by Microsoft that provides interactive visualizations and business intelligence capabilities with an interface that is simple enough for end users to create their own reports and dashboards. Whether you are new to Power BI or an experienced user looking to take your skills to the next level, this workshop will provide you with practical knowledge and hands-on experience to help you create compelling visualizations and reports that can help you make informed business decisions.

Power BI Desktop is a report designer with endless possibilities, used to bring in data from multiple sources, transform that data and merge them into a data model to get insights into your information. Making use of over 135 cloud and on-premise data sources as well as over 250 custom visualizations, PowerBI will help connecting, loading/transforming the data and creating reports, dashboards, applications and data visualization.

The deliverables can be viewed on a variety of platforms. Power BI can be integrated with Excel, Power Point, SharePoint and Teams. Generated reports can be embedded in the platforms and data connectors can be used to connect to data stored in those platforms.
