Areas of focus

Mark leads EMEIA Financial Services Global Compliance and Reporting teams, having joined EY in early 2005.

As part of this role, he leads two of EMEIA Financial Services largest tax compliance engagements and therefore has particular insight into the latest global challenges and emerging trends. In addition, he has worked on the development of EY tax risk management as well as enhancing existing tax auditing methodology.

Mark has over 20 years’ experience in leading large-scale multi-country, multi-disciplinary engagements. He also has inhouse tax experience through various secondments.

Mark qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales with Andersen in 2001 and obtained his BSc from Newcastle University.
