Hal leads the Banking & Capital Markets sector focused on bringing exceptional client service, audit quality and valued insights to audit committees, boards and C-suite executives for the Audit practice.
With more than 20 years of experience serving clients, including some of the firm’s largest global accounts, Hal has previously served as the US-West Region Banking and Capital Markets Assurance Leader, where he oversaw the growing FinTech practice. Hal also has extensive experience with initial public offerings (IPOs). Earlier in his career, as the Financial Services Industry IPO Leader, Hal provided audit and advisory services to clients with a focus on the SEC’s financial reporting requirements and IPO readiness.
Hal is a CPA in New York and California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
