Michael oversees the more than 300 legal personnel at EY and is the legal advisor to senior management and the Global Executive.
Before joining EY, he served as general counsel of several large financial institutions and a federal government agency. He was also partner at a national law firm.
Michael has taught for a decade at Yale, Columbia and Harvard law schools. He received a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Columbia University.
How Michael is building a better working world
Michael is mentoring and supporting the next generation of legal professionals with his work as an educator. In addition to his teaching duties at Yale, Columbia and Harvard law schools, he has served on various law and justice advisory committees, boards and councils and has received awards for his work in justice and community service.
