Areas of focus

Gerard leads the EY organization’s sustainability and climate change agenda for Europe, Middle East, India and Africa. He leads a team of consultants who help clients develop and implement strategies to achieve long-term value and impact in a decarbonizing world.

Gerard sits on the EMEIA Leadership team and is currently one of the EY top Global Client Service Partners in the Energy Sector. 

Gerard graduated from the School of Engineering at Heriot Watt and went on to do his MSc in Geophysics at the University of Edinburgh. Gerard graduated with an MBA and has been both a student and guest lecturer at various universities including Harvard, MIT, Wharton, and Aston.

Gerard has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, both as an engineer and a management consultant. Gerard is a working father of four children and in his spare time, he is a passionate long-distance triathlete.
