EY is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronald Attard as the new Country Managing Partner for Cyprus. Ronald joined EY in 1999 and moves into the Cypriot role having worked very closely with the firm and its partners throughout the last few years as part of his regional role as Strategy and Transactions Leader for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia Region (CESA), a role he has held since 2016. In addition to his Cypriot and regional position, Ronald will also continue in his capacity as Country Managing Partner of Malta, a role he has occupied since 2013.
Over the years, Ronald has led a number of cross-service line initiatives with various governments, global companies and institutions within the CESA region. He has spearheaded innovation for EY and their clients across all sectors and is a strong believer in combining diverse perspectives with an inclusive culture to drive better decision-making. He also believes in the need to prioritise sustainability and long-term value in an increasingly digitally connected world.
Ronald is excited to work with the Chairman of the Board, Stavros Pantzaris, and the EY Cyprus Partners as they navigate beyond Covid-19 and ensure clients, staff and society are provided with all the necessary support to emerge stronger than before.
Service Line Leaders, Andreas Avraamides, Head of Assurance, Philippos Raptopoulos, Head of Tax and Legal, Stelios Demetriou, Head of Strategy and Transactions, and Charalambos Constantinou, Head of Consulting, and the entire Partnership, welcome Ronald to the team and wish him the best of luck in this new endeavor.
