Areas of focus

Advising clients on regulation, strategy and the capital markets, Keith is EY Global Assurance Leader for Banking & Capital Markets. He works closely with governments and industry regulators on emerging trends impacting the financial services industry.

He is also the EY representative on the Bank Working Group of the Global Public Policy Committee. Previously, he served as Founder and Regional Managing Partner of EY Asia-Pacific Financial Services.

He is a member of the Listing Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute and the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform of the HKSARG. Additionally, he was the President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2012.

He received a BSc in Management Sciences from the University of Warwick.

How Keith is building a better working world

A frequent speaker on gender diversity and related topics, Keith was recognized as the Champion for the Advancement of Women in the 2012 Hong Kong Women of Influence Awards. He was a founding member of the 30 Percent Club in Hong Kong.

He has spent substantial periods of time working with frontier and emerging market governments and institutions, helping in areas such as financial market reform and restructuring. He believes that a safe and stable financial system is the bedrock for financial prosperity and growth as well as financial inclusion.
