Jon is an experienced corporate finance professional who leads EY EMEIA Oil & Gas Strategy and Transactions team, as well as the Global Oil & Gas corporate finance business. He advises on international acquisitions, divestments and fund-raisings covering around 40 countries globally and acting for IOCs, NOCs, capital providers and government bodies.

Jon is a respected industry commentator, with his insights appearing regularly in the media.

As well as his oil and gas responsibilities, Jon has led European Corporate Development Leadership Network, EY helping senior M&A practitioners across sectors develop transaction insights and alternatives for their capital agenda.

Jon has qualified as a Chartered Accountant achieving the Gold Medal in the Order of Merit, and is also a Chartered Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute. Jon holds the CF – Corporate Finance professional designation.

He has earned a first-class BSc in Mathematics with subsidiary Economics from Nottingham University.
