Izumi is EY Japan Data Protection Leader for Technology, Life Sciences and all other sectors. Since joining EY, Izumi has been providing assurance of ITGCs, internal audit outsourcing and support service as well as information security consulting service.

Izumi’s areas of focus include helping global firms improve their data protection readiness as well as compliance rollout in liaison with the local data protection authorities. Prior to his current position, Izumi worked as a financial auditor and in the field of data protection and privacy.

Izumi is a certified public accountant and a member of the JICPA. He is a Certified Information System Auditor CISA and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in succession. Izumi enhances his skill as a data protection expert by combining these qualifications.
