Founded in 1981, Intops Corporation started as a small manufacturer with two machines. By leveraging its distinctive injection molding technology, Intops gradually became South Korea’s foremost information and communication equipment parts manufacturer. The organization is now an Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) and a CMF (color, material, finish) specialist, with production facilities in South Korea and other countries. With 40 years of manufacturing expertise providing design inspiration for customers, Intops is expanding its horizons to include other business areas, such as mobile devices, home appliances, automobiles, lifestyle products and medical devices.

The recipients of the EY Family Enterprise Award of Excellence 2023, South Korea, are Jae-kyung Kim and Keun-ha Kim. Intops was established by Jae-kyung, the Chairman of the company. Under his guidance, Intops grew into the popular brand it is today. He believes in the balance of three factors for a successful management strategy: people, money and work.

Keun-ha, the CEO and President of Intops, is the son of Jae-kyung. Keun-ha is leading Intops to a positive future, with a focus on artificial intelligence, medical devices and robotics. He runs a startup accelerator program that combines Intops' manufacturing competitiveness and capital, and the startups' creative technologies and ideas. In addition, he practices the corporate management philosophy of "Growing Together."

Intops has succeeded in strengthening and expanding its business across generations and presenting an ideal family business model. The organization will continue to pursue sustainable growth based on the development of eco-friendly materials and value-added manufacturing.
