Effective 1 December 2023, nationals of France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Spain may enter China Mainland for business, tourism or family visit purposes, or transit through China Mainland, without a visa. The visa exemption will apply to eligible holders of ordinary passports who enter China Mainland for the aforementioned purposes or transit via the jurisdiction. These individuals may remain in China Mainland for up to 15 days. This visa-free policy will remain in effect until 30 November 2024.
