Vietnam extends e-visa eligibility to nationals of all countries
Effective15 August 2023, nationals of all countries are eligible to apply for e-visas. Previously, e-visa eligibility was limited to nationals of 80 countries. The Vietnamese government also announced that e-visas are now being issued at 42 ports of entry (up from 38 previously). As noted previously, e-visas are now valid for up to 90 days and allow holders to enter and depart from Vietnam multiple times. Prior to 15 August 2023, e-visas were issued for up to 30 days and permitted their holders to make a single entry to the country.
